Meet Our Team

 Edward M. Gotlieb, M.D., FAAP, FSAHMDr. Ed 2018

Dr. Ed received a B.A. in Chemistry from Duke University and his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia, followed by an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Ed is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.

He has been in private practice at The Pediatric Center of Stone Mountain since 1976. Dr. Ed’s faculty appointments include Emory University, Georgia State University and Morehouse School of Medicine.

Dr. Ed is on the board of directors of the Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance and is chairman of its research committee.

He is past chair of the national American Academy of Pediatrics’ Task Force on Clinical Information Technology and the AAP Policy Committee of the Council on Clinical Information Technology. Dr. Ed is the current chair of the Task Force on Clinical Information Technology for the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

 Jaquelin S. Gotlieb, M.D., FAAPDr. Jackie 2018

Dr. Jackie received a B.S. in Zoology from Duke University and her M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her pediatric internship at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond. Her residency was at both the Medical College of Virginia and the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver. Dr. Jackie is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the steering committee for Pediatric Research in Office Settings (PROS). She is a member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the DeKalb County Medical Society.

Her current faculty appointments are Morehouse School of Medicine, Mercer School of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, and Georgia State University School of Nursing.

Dr. Jackie is on the board of directors of the Georgia Health Foundation and currently the vice chair of the board. She serves as medical director for Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance.

Sellers.jpg Lucinda Sellers, MSN, CPNP

Lucinda, a native of Atlanta, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2004. She worked as a volunteer coordinator at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for several years. She then attended Emory University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Emory University in 2010.

She is a member of and certified by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Also, Lucinda is a member of the International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau. She joined The Pediatric Center in January 2011. Lucinda is married with two young children.

Stacy-Hughes Stacy Hughes, MSN, FNP-C

Stacey received her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 1998 from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and a Master’s in Nursing from Mercer in 2016. Throughout her career she has always enjoyed working with children- as a school nurse, public health nurse, pediatric triage nurse, and now as a nurse practitioner at The Pediatric Center of Stone Mountain. 
Before she became a nurse, Stacey received a Bachelor’s degree in American Civilization from Brown University and a Master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Rhode Island. She taught Social Studies in public schools in Denver and the Zuni Indian Reservation for three years. Stacey moved to Decatur Georgia in 2007. In addition to being a mom of two daughters, she enjoys working in the garden and reading in her backyard hammock. As a nurse practitioner at The Pediatric Center, Stacey is happy to be part of a team of compassionate and dedicated medical professionals who truly care about their patients and families.

 Justin Kitchens, MSN, FNP-C

Justin Kitchens

Justin, an Atlanta native, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters in Business Administration. Prior to beginning a career in the healthcare field, Justin worked in marketing for large companies including The Coca-Cola Company and UPS. Driven by his love for human health and improvement, he then decided to purse a degree in nursing and continued on to graduate with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Mercer University in 2016.
Gymnastics played a large role in Justin’s life as a youth and he continues to teach gymnastics. His passion for improving the abilities of youth, both physical and mental, has led him to a career In Pediatric Care. As a Nurse Practitioner at The Pediatric Center of Stone Mountain, Justin can not wait to be an integral part of the community it serves.


 Kathleen Allen, M.A., LPC

Kathleen received a B.A. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Vanderbilt University. While in Graduate School, Kathleen worked with chronically and terminally ill young people at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.  For eight years she was head of Psychological Services at Children’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.  Since 1982, Kathleen has been at The Pediatric Center of Stone Mountain providing counseling and evaluative services to children, adolescents, college students, and their families. She has done extensive post-graduate training in evaluation and treatment of learning differences and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.  Kathleen does psycho-educational assessments and individual/family counseling for the Learning Program at The Pediatric Center. She attends Student Support Team, 504, and IEP meetings. Kathleen takes referrals from physicians outside of the practice.


Margaret Duly, LCSW

Meg Duly received her bachelors of Social Work from Georgia State University and herDuly 3 Masters from UGA.  Throughout her long career she has been a daycare director for low income families in New Jersey, she has worked for Family Services, and as a mental health counselor in the Georgia state prison system.
Ms. Meg has been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for The Pediatric Center of Stone Mountain for over a decade, where she counsels the children, teenagers and families in our practice as well as offering individual adult and couples therapy.
Ms. Meg is an accomplished writer, having published 4 novels with a 5th one headed to press.  She and her husband, John have been married 38 years and have 5 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 lovable dogs.
